Building School District Efficiency through Lean Six Sigma
This training seminar, presented by Byron Headrick, MBB, CQE (President/Co-Founder of LEAN Frog), is offered to Alabama superintendents and their executive leadership team members (up to three per school). Designed as an executive leader overview, this course will provide insight into methods for utilizing Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement and Performance Management Tools to drive efficiency in a school district’s non-instructional departments.
Through this course, attendees will gain a detailed understanding of:
- Operational and Organizational Wastes – negative impacts on school system performance
- Process Improvement and Performance Management – approaches to eliminate and reduce Operational and Organizational Wastes
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – how to select and set-up KPIs for processes
- Establishing a Management System – how to use Key Process Metrics to drive fiscal sustainability and academic performance
- Potential Pitfalls – what to avoid when implementing process improvement techniques
