LEAN Frog was honored to participate in the Madison Chamber of Commerce (MCC) 2014 Small Business Awards last night at the Jackson Center in Huntsville, Alabama.   As the 2013 Small Business of the Year winner (LEAN Frog) and the 2013 Excellence in Leadership and Service Award winner (Byron), our President and Co-founder Byron Headrick presented the 2014 awards for these categories.  Congratulations and best wishes to Debbie Newman (General Manager) and team of Best Western Plus Madison-Huntsville Hotel, the 2014 Small Business of the Year and to Beth Martin (Madison Market President, Progress Bank), the 2014 Excellence in Leadership and Service Award winner.

We congratulate ALL of the nominees, finalists and winners and we thank you for your contributions to our community.  We started LEAN Frog in 2009 as a consultancy helping area small businesses develop and implement sustainable businesses processes.  We shifted focus to working with public schools in 2011—helping schools improve efficiency and effectiveness in their non-instructional departments through the practical application of Lean Six Sigma systems and tools.  Small businesses and schools are two of the building blocks of any successful community and LEAN Frog is proud to serve both of these institutions.
